Charborough has its own recording studio in Ascot which includes a huge Live Area (about 60sq m of floor space with a ceiling height of over 4.5m), an isolation booth, and large Control Room and listening area (about 30sq m). Our recording studio is fully equipped with instruments, microphones, mixers, PA, and effects processing gear. We generally aim to do nearly all recording, mixing, effects processing and mastering in software using Sonar X1 and a full suite of software tools, predominately VST and DXi plugins, from vendors such as Lexicon, Voxengo, Roland, Timeworks, Cakewalk, and Sonitus ... but we have a full set of real-world equipment, too. Our large live room and multi-channel MOTU interfaces mean that we can record bands ‘live’ as well as individually.
